Gettin Ish Done

Greg and I had a little adventure this morning to the office of tenants rights. Our new house, as much as we love it and especially where we live, are getting a little fed up with the work around the house that our landlord is not getting done.  Well our visit to this lawyer set us up with a letter that IF we chose to send out, is an official warning to Jenny (our landlord) to fix the problems and make this house more hospitable.  Welp, family meeting tonight to decide what we are going to do with this new ammo

Zoo Bliss

So for the past few months, Court and I have been going to the San Diego Zoo with our year zoo passes.  Money well spent. This last time that we went, we decided to go grab some coffee before and get there right as the Zoo is opening.  Advice, best time to go! not too crowded yet and you get to see a lot of cool stuff.  Among the attractions for the day: Beautiful baby leopard is diving in the water chasing some fish for breakfast.  The momma tiger is NOT a morning pet and is roaring like crazy! We could hear her from the Gorillas exhibit.  Speaking of which, we got to see the Gorillas get fed as we discover the Poppa has the hands of Randy Moss and he caught the lettuce head from across the grounds. And we got a talk on the polar bears sex life.  (ps, one might be pregnant).  And last but not least, the chimpanzee brother and sister did a duet for us in synchronized harmony.

Home

On our way back from Big Bear, we stopped off in Arcadia to do a little day hike through Chantry Flats.  Probably my favorite place at home.  We got to cross a few streams, see a couple of waterfalls, and chill at the rocks where we used to cliff dive.  So scenic, so surreal!

This past week has been crazy! But definitely a highlight to be noted was a trip that Brina and I made to Big Bear.  We spent 2 nights up there with a couple of friends Nina and Eddie.  Stopped by her house on the way up and my house on the way back. We got to hang out with my mom and brother and she finally got to meet my dad.  Little scared about it being too soon for a trip but everything turned out great and we had an amazing time.

Say Goodbye

One of the things that got me to start this blog is to keep track of all the changes happening in my life.

T-minus 22 Hours...Saying bye bye to Barney and hello to a new set a wheels.  Barney was a lemon, impulse buy, fun while it lasted but not worth the money put into it. Bottom line, new car, new house, new....I don't know, but hopefully the changes that I keep making are for the better and both benefit me, but more importantly allow me to benefit those around me.  Thank Mom and Dad for helping me with these changes.

Oh ya, a few of my new roommates standing in the backyard of OUR new house.  3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from Newport street.  We got the keys this last sunday and are starting our move in process.  House warming get together coming soon.  Look out!

Caught the Bug

Welp, I'm in it now...blogging.  I don't have a theme, or a basic direction for this blog, but whatever I find and think about I suppose I'll add on here and give my two cents.  Hope you like it/hope it doesn't take over my life.
